Rock Bottom

Rock bottom is a brutal, filthy abyss—

a dark pit that devours the light,

stealing your confidence like a thief in the night

and filling the void with a shame so suffocating,

it drags you under, drowning in despair.

At the crossroads, there are two choices:

to fight with every ounce of your soul,

or to surrender willingly.

I chose to die.

I curled into a fragile, broken ball inside that hellish hole,

my tears burning like acid as they fell.

And even in my hollow retreat,

the pain of what remained of me

haunted, relentless, screaming in the silence.

But now, amidst the wreckage,

a flicker stirs—a tiny, fierce spark.

This is me rushing back into battle,

fueled by that single ember of hope.

Now I choose to live,

to see what else awaits beyond this darkness,

to claim what I deserve,

and to fight for what’s mine—with all I have left.
